Energy Absorption Capacity of Concrete-Filled Steel Tube Slender Columns with Different Aspect Ratios

چکیده

The present paper examines the energy absorption capacity of concrete-filled steel tube slender (CFTS) columns having different aspect ratios. CFTS are nonlinearly analysed employing finite element software ABAQUS. In order to validate simulation columns, an experimentally tested column is simulated and its achieved result compared with that column. Since it concluded there a good agreement between obtained results from experimental test, validation then established. thereafter developed using ratios 6, 10, 13 also considering following parameters: load eccentricities, cross-sectional shapes, thicknesses. analyses. effects above-mentioned parameters on evaluated. From results, can be decreased by increase eccentricity or ratio. Further, circular greater than rectangular square columns.
